To keep it affordable, we work with our patients to come up with an inclusive, flat-rate treatment plan that is unique to their situation at a cost they are comfortable with. 

Our fees for cosmetic work tend to be lower than most area offices simply because we are a CEREC Prime office, which means everything is designed and milled same-day right here in our office, drastically reducing fees. We can also do virtual smile design chairside, so there is no need to wait for a model wax up, or the pay the high cost associated with it.

Veneers are an effective and permanent solution to whiten and prosthetically straighten the appearance of your smile. The Dynamic Dental team will work with you to determine if major veneer work is needed, if a combination of full crowns and veneers would work better, or if the gums around the teeth should be altered to provide the perfect solution that will last. Some patients who have short teeth, gummy smiles, over-crowding, or a non-ideal bite may not find the results they’re after with veneers, but our Watertown dentist can help determine other approaches to reach your goals.

In the first consultation, our dentist performs a comprehensive exam with a full set of X-rays to determine if there are any restorative needs or periodontal issues on the teeth that you would like veneers placed on. We’ll take a high-definition image of your current smile that shows how your teeth fit together. Using our CEREC PRIME system, we scan your mouth and work with a local lab to create a digital design. We print this out, and let you “try it on”.

If you decide to proceed with planned treatment, a prep appointment is then scheduled. At this appointment, your teeth receive a veneer treatment which minimally reduce them to create space and bonding surface for the veneers. Once all teeth are prepped, they are scanned with our CEREC PRIMESCAN, and all veneers are milled chairside, glaze-fired, and bonded in the same appointment. There is no need for temporaries; you will leave with your final restorations that day, in just one appointment!

Crowns and veneers are milled by our CEREC system chairside with high-strength ceramics instead of a composite material. While porcelain crowns and veneers are appropriate in certain situations, dental bonding can provide similar repair, restoration and enhancement to a tooth and smile when done correctly. However, the longevity and color stability is less than a crown or veneer.

Dental bonding is an excellent option for filling a small cavity, replacing old silver or yellowed composite fillings, and repairing an otherwise healthy but chipped tooth. Like any other material, dental bonding has limitations, primarily in its scope of applications. In situations where the cavity or filling is large, cracks or fractures are present, or if the tooth will need to withstand strong chewing forces, porcelain crowns are preferred to dental bonding.
